Feb. 02, 1973 - Artist depicts Royal family among birds and flowers: John Bratby, the controversial artist of Blackheath, SE London, has completed two 6 x 4 paintings of the Royal Family. One shows the Queen and Prince Philip and their family with a separate one for Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon. They appear to be happy, surrounded by owls, pheasants and sunflowers in the usual Bratby brash manner. Photo shows artist John Bratby in his studio with his two paintings of the Royal family
