John Castle and Charlton Heston, Antony and Cleopatra film
Feb. 26 Charlton Heston Plays Marc Antony, Again is Director Too! Shooting has started in Spain of the film Marc Antony and Cleopatra, based on the work of William Shakespeare. It is the first time that Charlton Heston directs the film, at the same time playing the principal part in it, and the third time he has played the role of Marc Antony. Shooting is being done in Almeria, Southern Spain, in the fortress of La Alcazaba, Malaga. Work is being done at tremendous speed and the film crew manages to do two days work in one.
