Mar. 03, 1961 - John Cavanagh is to make the Duke of Kent's Future Bride's Wedding Dress.: Katherine Worsley, proving herself a docile and diplomatic daughter-in-law, has taken the Duchess of Kent's advice and chosen John Cavanagh to make her wedding dress. He is the unchallenged couturier to the Kents. The Duchess first bought from him nine years ago when he was a fledgling designer. Princess Alexandra started to dress at Cavanagh's when she was seventeen and buying her first high fashion wardrobe for her Canadian tour. Thanks to Cavanagh, the Kents lead the royal fashion field.
