Jun. 26, 1973 - Ballet Chief John Cranko Dies In Plane; John Cranko, the British director of ballet at Wurtemberg State Theatre, Stuttgart, collapsed and died on a flight from New York to Stuttgart this afternoon. His plane made an unscheduled stop at Dublin after he collapsed. He was transferred to Mater Hospital in Dublin, but was dead on arrival. He was 45. Photo Shows John Cranko who died today
