John Dodd cleared of charge at Old Bailey, London
April 21, 1961 - John Dodd embraces his wife after being cleared of charge of accessory after the fact of murder of 24 year old Terence Sansom a car dealer was yesterday cleared at the Old Bailey, on charge of murdering payroll guard James Hawney (20) who was bludgeoned to death when a gang ambushed a London bus and snatched 9, 400 wages at Wimbledon on Jan. 26th. Cleared of the charge of being an accessory after the fact was John Edwin Dodd (29) also a car dealer.
