May 05, 1953 - John Foster Dulles Presents General Naguib With A Silver Mounted Revolver, a Present From General Eisenhower: Mr. Dulles the American Secretary of State had a two hour meeting with General Naguib the Egyptian Dictator in Cairo yesterday, during which he presented the General with a Silver Plated Revolver which is inscribed To General Mohammed Naguib from his friend Dwight D. Eisenhower and is from the President's personal collection. After the meeting General Naguib made a statement in which he said he meant every word he said with regard to the breaking off of talks with Britain on the Suez question.
