John Hopkins, photographer, wedding postponed
Jun. 06, 1968 - The hippie wedding fails to take place for the second time in two days.: Suzy Creamcheese, self -styled Queen of the Hippies, was to have married freelance photographer, John Hopkins at st. Pancras Town Hall yesterday. But 20-year-old Suzy did not apply for a marriage certificate until Thursday - a day too late for the wedding to take place - so she and John, 30, known to his friends as Hoppy had to switch their wedding to take place today. But here came the second hitch - the bride was unable to turn up for the wedding has been postponed for the second.
