Jun. 06, 1968 - The Hippie Wedding That Failed To Take place For The Second Time In Two Days: Suzy Creamcheese, self-styled Queen of the Hippies, was to have married freelance photographer, john Hopkins at St. Pancras Town hall yesterday. but 20-year-old Suzy did not apply for a marriage ceertificate until Thursday-a day too late for the wedding to take place-so she and John, 30, known to his friends as Hoppy had to switch their wedding to take place today. But herre again came the second hitch-the bride was unable to turn up for the wedding as she has suspected appendicitis, so the wedding was postponed for the second time in two days. Photo shows.
