John Nunn v Mark Taimanov, Chess Congress, Hastings

Dec. 12, 1975 - Russian chess champion checks in with a selection of Chopin: Mark Taimanov, the Russian Grand Master, played a selection of Chopin before beginning his first championship game at the Hastings International Chess Congress which opened yesterday. Taimanov, 49, a brilliant concert pianist, making his second appearance at Hastings, gave a brief recital before young English international Masters.
