1958 - Northampton Born Artist From Rome: Comes back to London.: To be seen in London yesterday was Northampton born John Rudge, son of a Cobbler - 33 year old expressionist abstraction painter. He had travelled from 32 year old friend of Princess Margaret. He had letters of introduction to a number of wealthy London friends of Judy Montagu. John claims that Judy is his inspiration the most divine inspiration in the world'. Photo shows John Rudge with his painting which he calls Still life with a glass jug'. in London last evening
