Aug. 08, 1975 - John Stonehouse is released from Prison on Bail of £40, 000: Mr. John Stonehouse, the MP facing 21 charges of theft, forgery and frauds was freed from Brixton prison last night on £40, 000 bail after 80 days in custody in Australia and in Britain.
