Josef Limburg, sculptor, with his bust of Pope Pius X
May 08, 1954 - On May 29th the former Pope Pius X will be canonised. In 1904 the Pope ordered the famous, now 80 years old, Berlin sculptor Prof. Josef Limburg to Rome, and gave him the order to make a bust of the Pope.
