Dec. 12, 1957 - Couple Re-United In Lewisham Hospital - After Tragic Rail Disaster. One of the Victims of the Lewisham train disaster - was 24 year old Mrs. Josephine Taylor of Beckenham, Kent. She was trapped in the wreckage her legs were torn and broken. While she was being rescued from the tangled mass of smashed coaches and the bodies of fellow passengers - she was worrying about her husband Ken - who she thought might have been on the same train.. The couple were reunited yesterday in Lewisham hospital - and in spite of her terrible injuries Josephine was happy once again.
