1968 - A Rehearsal of a medieval jousting tournament for next weeks battle of Hastings celebrations : A full dress rehearsal of a medieval jointing tournament which takes place next week to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, was held today at eridge park, Kent, the home of the Marquess of Abergavenny.
