Judy Garland arrives at London Palladium

Dec. 21 Judy Comes Back - Leaves Nursing Home To Attend Night Of 100 Stars Charity Show: Judy Garland left the Nursing home yesterday and went straight to the London Palladium for the great Midnight Night of 100 stars Charity show. She had been barred from singing by her doctors but requested that she should be allowed to walk on the stage. This was granted and she appeared as one of the special guests introduced by the Beatles. Judy was escorted by actor Mark Herron. While waiting to appear Judy talked about the accident which led her being taken to a Chelsea Hospital on Monday - with outs. I was opening some trunks which were steel bound She said. I tried to open them with some scissors and succeeded in cutting my elbow and arms'. She said she was feeling very very ill - so the hospital stay was a very nice rest.
