1981 - Lloyd Webber Replaces Russian Cellist: Julian Lloyd Webber, brother of the composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, is replacing the Russian cellist Natalia Gutman for today's concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall. It was to have been the young Russian cellist's London debut, but she has been taken ill. So Lloyd Webber, Britain's foremost young cellist, is to take her place in the programme which remains unchanged, including the Shostakovich Concerto.
