Jun. 06, 1970 - The sex symbol of the seventies-former Miss Norway: Julie Ege, a 24 year old Former Miss Norway, was named last night as the winner of the World-wide talent search by the Columbia Pictures to find the screen's new sex symbol of the 70's. She is the successor to Raquel Welch, role in the recent James Bond film, On her Majesty's Secret Service, and now she will star in a film called Creatures the World Forgot which starts filming in Africa later this Summer, and is being made by Hammer Films.
