Aug. 08, 1969 - Juliet Prowse To Star as Mame for 16 Performances while Ginger Rogers Takes Holiday: There was a photo call on the stage of the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London, when Juliet Prowse was seen in several of the Mame costumes. A new set of costumes (some newly designed) costing £15, 000, has been made for Juliet for her part in the hit musical Mame'. Juliet Prowse will be seen in the part of Mame for two weeks from 1st September, whilst Ginger Rogers takes a holiday.
