Aug. 08, 1969 - Juliet Prowse To Star As Mame For 16 Performances While Ginger Rogers Takes Holiday: There was a photo-call on the stage of the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London, today, when Juliet Prowse was seen in several of the Mame costumes. A new set of costumes (some newly designed) costing £15, 000, has been made for Juliet Prowse for her part in Mame - the hit musical. Juliet will be seen in the part of Mame for two weeks from 1st September, whilst Ginger Rogers takes a holiday.
