Karin Dor, German actress, in James Bond film

Oct. 10, 1966 - The Girl Who Dies Happy: German Actress Karin Dor arrived in London yesterday after flying 12, 000 miles for a scene that was never shot. She went from Hollywood to japan to make a 60-second appearance which consisted of her stepping off a plane. It rained. No Shot. So she flew to Iceland to make part of another film, then came to Britain to make the scene she should have done in japan. Now, said an American Publicist, it will be shot at one of your suburban airports made up to look Japanese. Just one more item in the 3 million budget set for the latest James Bond film You Only live Twice'. Karin, seen yesterday trying an odd job type bowler at the Hilton, is due to Die Happily in the film. As she puts it: I am falling out of an Aeroplane into lava - you know, that stuff that comes out of Volcanoes. It is very hot and i die. The happy bit? That is because, said the publicist, she gets Bond first
