Kate Parbury repairs damaged portrait bust, London

Dec. 12, 1954 - The Bust that was busted. Head of the Colonial Secretary: Sculptor Kate Parbury was to be seen working this morning repairing the bust of Mr. Alan Lennox-Boyd, Secretary of State for the Colonies at the Personalities in Sculpture exhibition being held at the Imperial Institution Art Gallery, South Kensington, London. The bust was knocked down and almost completely ruined by the crowd which attended the Private View of the show. Photo shows Kate Parbury touching up some of the cracks in the reassembled bust at the Imperial Institute Galleries this morning
