Mar. 03, 1972 - Flying Squad Chief Suspended: Commander Kenneth Drury, head of Scotland Yard's Flying Squad, has been suspended from duty pending an inquiry into a Cyprus holiday he spent with a Soho Strip Club owner. The investigation follows the publication of a report in the Sunday People on February 27. The newspaper claimed that Commander Drury and his wife went on holiday with Soho strip club owner, Mr. James Humphreys and his wife. Mr. Humphreys has criminal convictions.
