Jan. 01, 1954 - Commemorating anniversary of the execution of king Charles 1st : The Rev. H.J. Sillitoe, brother of sir Percy sillitoe, the head of M.I. 5 Conducted a service outside the Royal united services Museum this morning - to commemorate the anniversary of the execution of King Charles 1st. (Jan. 30th. 1649). Mr. Siillitoe is the Rector of Digewell in Hertfordshire and belongs to the king Charles the Martyr society. Photo shows The rev. H.J. Sillitor places a wreath over the doorway of the museum - during the ceremony in Whitehall this morning
