King Frederick of Denmark chats with children

Oct. 10, 1970 - What Happened to you'?: What happened to you? asked King Frederick of Denmark, of 6-year old Janine - who with three other girls presented flowers to the King and Queen Ingrid in front of Rokilde Cathedral in connection with the 100th anniversary of the birth of the late King Christian. Little Jannie, her head bandaged, had eight stitches in her forehead after being hit by a car - luckily not seriously - whilst crossing a street. The King, his arm in a sling - after recently stumbling in the courtyard of Fredensborg Castle, said: we will not do it again Jannie - and she promised to be more careful whilst crossing the road in future
