King Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia
Sep. 09, 1959 - A King Escapes Assassination - But A Prince Dies. The King and Queen of Cambodia escaped injury when a bomb - in a parcel addressed to them exploded. Prince Vakrivan, assistant director of the royal household was killed. King Norodom Suramarit, who is 65 and his wife Queen Kossamak Nearirth were crowned three years ago.
