King Paul of Greece opens Olympic Committee meeting

May 05, 1954 - King Paul of Greece opens international Olympic Committee meeting in Athens: King Paul of Greece recently opened the first meeting of the International Olympic Committee, held in the Theater of Erodis Atticus, Athens, who put plans on the performance of Olympic Games in 1936. After the King's speech, classical music was played by the Athens Symphony Orchestra. Photo shows general visit showing King Paul making his opening speech
