Mar. 02 Ugly Duckling with Grotesque future: It starts life with ugly looks and its character develops that way. The grotesque creature is a king vulture chick. It is extremely rare for these birds to hatch successfully in captivity, but after 60 days of careful incubation at the Los Angeles Zoo in California, this chick popped into the world with a king size appetite. He started life eating 1 mouse a day which will be increased to 15 day after 5 weeks. In South America, king vultures are known as the sanitation corps of the forests since they spend their lives feeding off dead or nearly dead bodies
