Apr. 16 Battle damaged F-so jet fighter makes a crash landino in a south korean rice paddy: A battle damaged F-80 jet fighter rests in a rice paddy in south Korea. After making an emergency wheel-up landing A burst of flak knocked out the plane's hydraulic system preventing the lowering of the landing gear. The pilot was injured and immediately boarded a transport plane to return to his home base in japan. The Korean farmer, working in the paddy when this picture was taken, appareled much more interested in the photographers camera than in the plane which had slid down the length of the flooded paddy
