1953 - Seven Arrive from Korea: The seven men who have been interned in Korea for two years and eight months arrived by Hastings aircraft at the RAF Station, Abingdon today. They are CAPT VYVYAN HOLT former British Minister in Seoul. Mr. Norman OWEN first Secretary of the British Minister in Seoul. At Seoul Mr. Philip Deane a war reporter; Father Thomas Quinlan the Irish Missionary; Commissioner Herbert Lord of the Salvation Army; Bishop Alfred Cooper an Anglican Missionary and Mr. George Blake, British Vice Consul at Seoul.
