Jul. 08, 1969 - Kurt Edelhagen is on the way to recovery. The convalescence of the beloved Jazz Professor and orchestra chief is making good progress. In February of this year he was admitted to the clinic at Koln University with serious internal bleeding and had to spend over three months there. Under stricter, more familiar custody he is proceeding in his recovery, guarded at his home in Koln-Junkersdorf. There he plays with his daughter and their boxer dog Ingo - until he is able to again play with his band. He's got to bear it some more though, even if it is difficult
