Three Labour MPs in election campaign by caravan

Aug. 08, 1959 - Labour MPs Start Off On Election Campaign The Skiffle MPs. A party of Labour MPs started their Into Action pre election campaign from Bexley this morning. During the campaign they are to take part in a series of open air meetings, distribution of literature etc, from the motorised caravan in which they will live, sleep, etc. Keystone Photo shows: Three of the MPs seated in the driving cab of the caravan this morning. They are L-R: Norman Dodds, (MP for Erith and Crayford); Sidney Irving (MP for Dartford) and Arthur Bottomley (MP for Rochester and Chatham). During the tour they will include barbecues, skiffle displays, etc
