Feb. 02, 1960 - Lady Mountbatten Is Buried At Sea As She Had Requested: With a simple but deeply moving ceremony, the body of Countess Mountbatten of Burma was taken out to sea aboard the frigate H.M.S. Wakeful from Portsmouth yesterday, for burial four miles south of Nab Tower, off the Isle of Wight.
