Jul. 07, 1957 - Countess Mountbatten opens The house of Citizenship for training of Future of Diplomats Etc. The Countess Mountbatten Yesterday visited The House of Citizenship - Hartwell House, Aylesbury, Bucks. to perform the official opening ceremony. It is a training centre where young ladies receive instruction in citizenship as well as commerce. The idea of the school is to give the dropper type of education and instruction to young women who will about Commonwealth Relations - International Affairs - Local Government etc. Most of the students come from the United Kingdom - but quite a number are from other parts of the world.
