Left-wing students demonstrating in Munich, Germany

Aug. 08, 1967 - A political weekend happening - students arranged on 26th August in Munich. We have offended the Shah of Persia. We regret it. We beg for justified punishment! We said, that so good democrats as the Greek King Konstantin, General Franco, Spain, and Salazar from Portugal are slave owners and offenders against humanity. We see this cannot be said. We regret it very much! These self abasements at the political happening of the extreme Left of the Munich Socialist Association of Students began in Leopold Street. Chained together thirty students afterwards marched from Schwabing to the police presidency in the Ettstrasse where the Shah Offenders, Nestbeschmutzer and Querulants - in their own words - were taken over by the police. Nobody - besides the students themselves - were interested in this Happening. They will be made responsible for this matter for they had no permission for a public meeting
