Lene - member of Danish Parliament - In Hot

Apr. 14, 1971 - Lene - member of Danish Parliament - In Hot Pants. The youngest female member of Danish Parliament, Lene Bro (Labour), really drew her college's attention to herself, when she started wearing hot pants in Parliament. When, in 1968 Lene Bro, who is married to Knud Bro (Conservative) showed up in mini-dresses, many members formed the idea that she had no respect for Parliament. But Lene says I regard Parliament as work and work best with clothes suitable for - I never dream of getting clothes special for my work'. Now, her latest fashion makes the members of Parliament look - but she doesn't care. But if her husband, member of the same Parliament showed up in a sweater, she would protest, simply, it does not suit him, she says.
