Mar. 27 Leni Riefenstahl works at an new photo book: One more time Leni Riefenstahl show herself as a very robust lady, when she, the 76 year old actress, director, writer and all round artist goes on diving station in the Caribbean, The fearless lady, who learned at the age of 71, when other women are a long time get their old age pension, the art of deep sea diving, intends to shoot photos for her newest book about the magic under sea world here. With her are two TV-teams of USA and Japan, which shoot a portrait of the many sided artist. Leni Riefenstahl who lived till now an adventurous life, started her career after studying painting and drawing, as dancer, in the year 1929 she came to the film, where she played some main roles in mountain films. But the high flying young actress increased very quick to a director. 1934 she shot a documentation about the Reichsparteitag in Nuremberg and 1936 about the Olympic Games in Berlin. From 1962 - 1969 she lived as the first white woman among the about 8000 members of the Nuba-tribe in the Sudan, where her book The Nubas sprang up, which brought her success as a photographer and also a writer in the whole world. With her new book Leni Riefenstahl hopes to connect on her good reputation as a many sided artist
