Jul. 19, 1951 - Stokowski When famous conductor Leopold Stokowski consented to give the one concert in West Germany at the German Museum, Munich - he asked that no photographs of him should be taken. In order to accept his request, the Bavarian Broadcasting Station placed bodyguards outside the Museum with the purpose of photographers. Stokowski, carried a order to hide his face from the Photographers. The enterprising photographer did however succeed in getting a picture of the conductor, and was arrested by police who later released him.
