Nov. 29, 1965 - Unique School in the Senckenberg Museum: During a congress of the International Museum-Union in New York was recently found out with astonishment that there is a unique special school in Germany, that is for the education of technical personnel for natural history museums, The Frankfurt natural museum Seckenberg museum is in the world the most appreciated one at all and unique in its scientific grain. The school is yet existing for already four years, but only now it appeared publicly for the first time. The school ca be visited without payment the education time is two years. Now the ICOM (International Museum Union) of the UNESCO is interested in this in the world unique school and they intend to send also foreign pupils to Frankfurt. At present 16 pupils are educated further 16 ones have already undergone their examinations during the last four years. Teachers and examiners are the Senckenberg scientists themselves.
