Dec. 12, 1957 - Nobel Peace Prize for Mr. Pearson: In a ceremony at Oslo University on Tuesday, this year's Nobel Peace Prize was presented to Mr. Lester Pearson, former Canadian Secretary of State for External Affairs, by Dr. Gunner Jann, Chairman of the Norwegian Parliament's Nobel Prize Committee.
