Dec. 09 Every Mum's darling meet every daughter's darling.: It was quite an historic moment at the Palladium when the darling of a million mums, pianist Liberace, finally met his own favourite star, the darling of every teenage daughter, singer Tom Jones. Liberace, who is at present visiting Britain to promote his new records, had booked weeks ago to make sure of getting a seat to see Tom at the Palladium, where he is appearing for a month. Then Liberace just had to go to Tom's dressing room to meet the singer. The two stars discussed topics of the day - and, of course, music.
