Sep. 09, 1973 - When Fashion Kills a Company: One of the world's most famous hat factories, the M. Bruggisser and Co. LTD, Wohlen, Switzerland, announced its near end. The company has to close its doors, for the production no longer can complete on the market.300 years old is this establishment, where about 60 workers produced hats for the export in all the world. But, as the owner said: Fashion killed us. Hats no longer are at fashion and so we are loosing our best clients'. And this happens inspite of the brand new installation in the production plant. ops
