1990 - Traditional Spring Parade In Zurich: The explosion of an artificial snowman on top of a huge fire traditionally ends the Sechselauten, a spring parade of the guilds in Zurich (Switzerland). The members of the guilds march in prehistorical costumes of their trade through the center of the city assemble around the snowman at the end of the Parade. Those on horse back are supposed to ride around the Boog - as the snowman is called in Swiss German - until he explodes, the event took place April 23rd
