Liechtenstein - Switzerland
Jan. 01, 1991 - Listen Folks What I've Got To Say: The town of Lausanne in the southwest of Switzerland has finally found a new night-watcher for the local cathedral. Lausanne is the only town in Europe that has kept this tradition going bakc to the middle-ages. Arnaud Lebet sits in the tower every night of the year from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. in the morning and announces with his strong voice the arrival of every full hour. Photo shows Arnaud Lebet calling the time down to the town
