Linda Ludgrove, Sydenham schoolgirl, medal winner

Dec. 12, 1962 - One out Of A Thousand: Back to School yesterday went 15 year old Linda Ludgrove to receives Heroine's ovation from mare than a thousand of her fellow Schoolgirls. There also to erect her at Sydenham Comprehensive Girl's School.were the board of governor's the Mayor of Lewisham and the teachers and staff if the scholl. In recognition of her outstanding performance at the Commonwealth Games in which she carried off two gold medals and a silver the school authorities have decided to institute a special award in the future.
