Mar. 21, 1957 - 21.3.57 The Queen Mary cheats the strikers she sail from Southampton at 1-30 a.m. The Cunard liner Queen Mary sailed from Southampton at 1-30 a.m. today after Mr. R.A. Butler, the acting Premier, ordered five Admiralty tugs to take the liner to sea at all costs. But half an hour before union men, who refused to move the 81, 000-ton liner because of the shipyard strike, fought to prevent her sailing.
