Dec. 30, 1957 - Kettledrum and drum for the police band The famous jazz musician Lionel Hampton gave a kettledrum and a drum as a present to the police band of Hamburg at the town hall. Lionel Hampton's world tour began in Germany. Our Picture shows: Mr. Weimer from the firm Trixon, the policeman from the percussion instrument Winkler, Lionel Hampton, sitting, the leader of the police band Grenz, and police senator Dr. Kruger (all seen from left to right)
