Oct. 19, 1957 - World Famous american Jazz player Teaches two London schoolboys to plays the drums. Lionel Hampton the famous American black Jazz player has agreed to teach two London schoolboys Robin Brown (13) and his brother Jed (11) to play the drums. The boys are fans of Lionel Hampton - and are always playing his records. They hoped to see him when he arrived in London - but his only performance was at a midnight charity matinee - and they could not attend. They telephoned him - and asked if they could see him play - and he said I will do better than that - I will teach you. They had a lesson this morning.
