United Nations, New York, 18 March 1982 Norwegian actress Liv Ullmann, in her capacity as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), today held a press conference at UN Headquarters to discuss the situation of needy children in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Ms Ullmann who has just returned from a visit to those two countries, indicated that she was extremely shocked at the plight of children there. The most hopeful thing, she said, was the possibility of their being reached by foreign aid
