London MP Found dead in Gas-filled room - Acton
Oct. 10, 1967 - London MP Found dead in Gas-filled room - Acton Labour MP, Mr. Bernard Frances Castle Floud, was found dead today in a gas-filled room of his home in Albert Street, Regent's Park. Mr. Floud, who was 52, and a Granada TV executive, based in London, had been MP for Acton since 1964. His wife, Ailsa, died in January after a long illness. Today's discovery was made by his son, Roderick, who said later: My father had been ill for some months after the death of my mother.
