Jan. 01, 1962 - No Change For Independent Television Contracts. At a press conference today, Lord Hill of Luton, Chairman of the Independent Television Authority, announced the appointment of a General Advisory Council. At the conference Lord Hill gave details of the contractors who have been chosen to carry on independent television for the next three years. He also gave details envisaged for viewers in Scotland and Wales who have hitherto not had such good programmes and reception as the South of England. Photo shows Lord Hill speaking at the conference this afternoon. Next to him (L) is Sir Robert Frazer, Director General of the Independent Television Authority
